Luxury Tented Camps There are six luxury tents that are magically tucked between the trees and overlook the Umhlali River these can accommodate up to 2 guests each. Each tent has a Victorian bath, shower, basin and toilet as well as a tea and coffee station with a refrigerator, private veranda, electronic safe, hair dryer, free standing fan with a four post mosquito net over the bed.
Kindly note that the tents can only be taken as a dinner, bed and breakfast option, as they are not equipped for self-catering.
Waterbuck
Uniquely situated and stilted over the dam, this fully equipped self-catering timber cabin soaks up the tranquillity of the beautiful farm surroundings and can accommodate up to 4 guests. There are two bedrooms each sleeping two guests, with built in ceiling fans. There is one shower and two toilets, a bar, lounge and dining area, an open jetty as well as its own private island with a bridge that connects it to the cabin.
Wildebeest
A great option for family groups of up to eight guests. This fully equipped self-catering thatched rondaval has a lovely open loft room which sleeps four guests as well as two bedrooms downstairs (one room en suite with its own air conditioning unit) each sleeping two guests with two bathrooms. There is a large balcony which overlooks the rolling grassland in the distance and an outdoor entertainment area equipped with a built in braai and fire pit. This unit is air conditioned and gives you the option of both a stone bath and shower.
Zebra
This suite is part of a packaged rate of R1200.00pp per night which includes dinner, bed and breakfast, lunch and a game drive daily. This suite can NOT be booked out on a self catering rate however it is fully equipped should you wish to prepare any additional meals over and above the meals you receive as part of the package and has an outdoor braai area too! This two sleeper thatched rondaval is the ultimate honeymoon suite and has been made extra special to ensure that a couple will enjoy all the magic ambiance it has to offer. It has it's very own private Jacuzzi, fireplace, plasma screen TV, full DSTV bouquet, air conditioning, an enchanting outdoor shower as well as a stone bath with an overhead shower.
Duiker, Warthog, Ostrich
The three adjacent farmhouse complexes are ideally situated in front of the river, making for a peaceful experience.
These units are perfect for larger groups as they are in close proximity to one another or each can be booked out separately.
Duiker can accommodate two guests and is fully equipped for self-catering with a kitchen, lounge and outdoor patio area. The bedroom has a ceiling fan and there is a separate shower and toilet.
Warthog can accommodate four guests and is fully equipped for self-catering with a kitchen, lounge and outdoor patio area. Both rooms have ceiling fans and share a shower and two toilets.
Ostrich can accommodate six guests in total and is fully equipped for self-catering with a kitchen, lounge, dining area and outdoor patio area. All rooms have ceiling fans and share two toilets and two showers.
Giraffe
Also known as the main farm house complex, giraffe is truly a home away from home. This beautiful farm house overlooks a peaceful dam and boasts spectacular views of the farm surroundings. There is a huge entertainment area with an outside undercover patio which opens up into the beautiful garden. It has a spacious dining room and a lounge with a plasma TV and DSTV as well as an air-conditioned bar area. This house is fully equipped for self-catering offering a large kitchen as well as an undercover braai area with a cosy fire place.
Giraffe has five bedrooms, which can accommodate ten guests in total.
The two bedrooms downstairs have ceiling fans and share a bathroom with a bath, shower and a separate toilet. The two bedrooms upstairs have ceiling fans as well as air-conditioning units and share a bath, shower and toilet.
The main bedroom / honeymoon suite is extremly private and has it's very own undercover patio with a private Jacuzzi, an open patio, a fire place, open planed bath in the bedroom with a separate shower and toilet and a little kitchenette tucked away in a built in cupboard unit. This bedroom has it's very own large, plasma TV with a DVD player and DSTV.
